"Zakłady Produkcyjne Urzadzeń Medycznych OPTOPOL Sp. z o.o." were created in the year 1999. 100 % of shares Z.P.U.M. OPTOPOL belong to OPTOPOL Ltd. The scope of our activity is production of furniture for ophthalmic wards in hospitals/clinics and ophthalmic practices (refraction units, tables for diagnostic instruments, operation tables, specialist chairs for ophthalmology) and diagnostic equipment (automatic perimeter for testing the field of vision, corneal topography system, applanation tonometer and trial lens case).

In the range of our production, our export activities have been growing steadily for the last few years. Currently, we export to such countries as Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia&Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech and Slovak Republics, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Italy, Israel, South Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia&Montenegro, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and Ukraine.

For the last six years, we have successfully participated in International Optics, Optometry and Ophthalmology Exhibition MIDO in Milano (Italy).

In April 2002 Company ZPUM OPTOPOL received ISO 9001:2000 Certificate, covering the design, production and sales of medical and optical instruments in the range of ophthalmology. In August 2004 Company ZPUM OPTOPOL received ISO 13485:2003.
